A passion for artisan cacao comes together on May 14 at El Corte Inglés in Vigo, where a unique tasting will be held featuring chocolates crafted by Essenzo Cacao, the Galician brand that has conquered Europe. This free, limited‑capacity experience offers a sensory journey from the bean to the bar and aims to share the secrets of the chocolate industry and the value of fair trade.

The event is led by Guillermo Villafañez, founder of Essenzo Cacao. His workshop has received prestigious awards, including Best Dark Chocolate in Spain (2022) and Best Milk Chocolate in Europe (2023), positioning the brand among the most renowned in the international scene.

During the session, attendees will taste different types of chocolate made from carefully selected beans sourced from small farmers across various continents. Each bar reflects a message of respect for artisanal work, a commitment to quality, and the defense of fair trade—values that Villafañez has made central to Essenzo’s identity.
