The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum is once again opening its galleries to the spoken word in a very special celebration of World Poetry Day. On a journey that transforms the museum into an emotional map, 21 poets will recite their verses amongst the artworks that fill its galleries.
The day will begin with an opening reading by Massiel, an undisputed icon of Spanish culture, whose voice—capable of leaving its mark on entire generations—will provide the perfect opening for this event.
These are the artists who will join us for this unique recital: Alain Uceda, Alicia Louzao, Amaury Muro, Ángel Solo, Arturo Martí, Bernard Engel, Bruno Lastra, Carolina Muñoz, Charo Fierro, Emilia Conejo, Javier Lostalé, José Félix Valdivieso, Marga Clark, María Pastor, Marta González Novo, Pablo Rosal, Pía Tedesco, Raquel Vázquez, Rosa Navarro, Sebastián Fiorilli, Verónica Aranda.
A celebration to listen to, watch and feel. An invitation to experience the museum in a different way.
- Saturday 21 March at 11.45 am*
*Please note that to attend the World Poetry Day recital at the Thyssen Museum, each attendee must purchase a ticket.
