Roundtable: The Alhucemas landing. The first amphibious landing in history

This year marks the centenary of the Alhucemas Landing, which marked the beginning of the end of the Rif Campaign. For this reason, the Tercio de Extranjeros Foundation has decided to organize a series of commemorative events for the first landing in history, with the participation of members of the Land, Sea, and Air Force. The first event will consist of a roundtable presentation of the participation of the various members:

• On the air component, Major General (R) of the Air and Space Force, Ángel Moreno Josa, will speak, explaining the air assets involved in the landing and their role.

• On the maritime component, Colonel (R) of the Marine Infantry, José Cánovas García, will speak, explaining the Navy's participation in the landing.

• On the ground component, Lieutenant Colonel (R) of the Army and Doctor of History, Pedro Pérez Frías, will speak, describing the Army units and assets that participated in the landing.

The event will be presented by Juan Antonio Díaz Díaz, president of the Foreign Tercio Foundation.
