El Corte Inglés joins International Childhood Cancer Day with the charity sale of the book “Superheroes Without Superpowers”, available from February 13 to March 31, 2026, at El Corte Inglés bookstores in Santiago de Compostela, Vigo, and A Coruña.

All proceeds will be donated to the Galician Association for the Support of Children with Cancer (ASANOG).

About the book

This book, written by Borja Balbuena and published by Editorial Pulseras Amarillas, tells his story in the first person after being diagnosed at age 16 with advanced stage IV Burkitt non-Hodgkin lymphoma. His account covers the entire process from diagnosis to complete remission, from the courageous and honest perspective of a teenager.
