“La pulsión de muerte en Lorca” with Marta González Novo

The Cadena SER journalist Marta González Novo will offer a conference dedicated to the most intimate and mysterious universe of Federico García Lorca. Under the title “La pulsión de muerte en Lorca”, the journalist will explore the poet’s most premonitory and symbolic side: the Federico of foreboding, of dark intuitions, of extreme sensitivity, and of that constant awareness of destiny that runs through much of his work and his life.

Through poems, letters, and biographical episodes, Marta González Novo will propose a journey through the signs, shadows, and emotions that anticipated Lorca’s tragedy, showing how the celebration of life and a profound perception of death coexisted within him. A different and evocative perspective on one of the most fascinating authors of 20th‑century Spanish literature.

  • - Wednesday, May 27 at 7:30 p.m.
  • - In‑person attendance until full capacity is reached
  • - Streaming available. Follow it on AC’s YouTube channel
