The Cultural Hall of El Corte Inglés in Málaga presents, on Monday 13 April at 6:30 p.m., a screening of Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa da Requiem. The session will be introduced by Bartolomé Mesa, graduate in Contemporary History.

Regarded as one of the great masterpieces of the sacred repertoire, this work offers a powerful meditation on the meaning of life in the face of the mystery of death, while distilling the most sublime musical resources Verdi developed throughout his operatic career.

This screening features the acclaimed production from the Opernhaus Zürich, with choreography by Christian Spuck and musical direction by Fabio Luisi. The cast brings together an exceptional quartet of soloists: Krassimira Stoyanova, Veronica Simeoni, Francesco Meli and George Zeppenfeld, delivering a performance of remarkable emotional depth and artistic intensity.
