Presentation of MAREA DE VERSOS AZULES by MIGUEL CHECA MANCEBO

“Marea de versos azules” is a lyrical meditation on human existence, using the sea and light as symbolic axes. Its verses explore the duality between the hope of dawn and the desolation of emotional shipwreck, intertwining themes of love, solitude and memory through a chromatic language in which blue represents both fullness and the melancholy brought by the passage of time.

A fascinating poetic journey through the tides of the soul, where the sea witnesses shipwrecks and redemptions, and where love and memory intersect to explain the inexplicable. Words strip themselves bare to overcome the “grey folly,” immersing us in memories and light to mend the tears left by bitterness.

This work invites us to don a blue tunic and raise a toast to the “wise habit of living.” Immerse yourself in this ritual of redemption where destiny ceases to feel foreign and hope is reborn with every dawn. The entire collection is a vibrant “blue metamorphosis,” restoring hope to a heart longing for reasons to remain serene, using coastal metaphors and seascapes to redeem us from pain. The poems celebrate the spirit’s ability to find beauty and renewal in the everyday Mediterranean horizon.
