Opening of the exhibition "12 Decades of Caring for Everyone's Health" on June 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ámbito Cultural of El Corte Inglés Málaga.

The exhibition will be open to the public from June 27 to August 8, 2025, Monday to Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The veterinary profession in Malaga is commemorating the 120th anniversary of the founding of the College of Veterinarians with an exhibition entitled "12 Decades of Caring for the Health of All," which provides a historical overview of the Malaga College of Veterinarians from its founding in 1905 to the present day.

The central theme of the exhibition is 12 large posters that explain, in a simple and graphic way, the different historical stages of the institution and its relationship with other organizations.

The exhibition features historical paintings from various moments, events, and occurrences that have had a significant impact on our institution, as well as veterinary instruments used by veterinarians throughout the decades of the 20th and 21st centuries.

120 years later, with almost 1,200 members, the Málaga College of Veterinarians has grown and absorbed the entire history of its city, province, and country, from the Restoration, the Dictatorship of Primo de Rivera, the Second Republic, the Dictatorship, the death of Franco, and the beginning of the transition; the Spanish Constitution, Democracy, and current events.

• JUAN ANTONIO DE LUQUE IBÁÑEZ (President of the Illustrious Official College of Veterinarians of the Province of Málaga).
