DISCUSSION WITH MANUEL TOSCANO AND DANIEL GASCÓN.
Two of the most interesting political voices in our culture will engage in a dialogue that will allow us to examine the enduring relevance of founding European values. The values that define Europe according to the Treaties of the Union are well-defined: the pursuit of peace, human dignity, freedom, representative democracy, pluralism, and the rule of law.
From this starting point, philosophical antecedents will be explored to explain these values and the challenges they face today.
The event will be introduced by Cristina Consuegra, Director of the Málaga Film Festival.
