On Tuesday, 14 July, from 19:30 hours, you can enjoy the concert by the vocal music choir Torremolinos Coplero at El Corte Inglés Málaga.

The vocal music choir Torremolinos Coplero was created in May 2013 by lovers and enthusiasts of this genre, including Maruja Lozano and Paco Castón, with the aim of promoting Spanish copla in its different styles, forms and authors, but with the innovative format of a choir, since copla is usually performed by soloists. The purpose of this group is to disseminate these compositions in their original, genuine or premiere versions.

In this evening of coplas titled “Muero por la copla”, like the song by Marifé de Triana, the choir will bring to the audience, in addition to other pieces by the artist, several works created by great and emblematic copla composers, such as “La zarzamora” and “Canción del olé” by Quintero, León and Quiroga, or “Ramito de mejorana” by Juanito Valderrama and Dolores Abril.

The choir is currently made up of 17 voices and has been directed since its creation by Rosana Dalmasso.
