El Corte Inglés Málaga hosts on Monday, 3 August at 19:30 hours the concert “A Journey Through the Piano. Educational Recital: From the Baroque to Spanish Nationalism”, performed by pianist Iciar Serrano.

This recital presents a musical journey through major stylistic periods: an evolutionary path beginning in the Baroque, followed by the classical structure of Mozart, the romantic intensity of Chopin and Brahms, and culminating in the stylised Andalusian character of Spanish nationalism with Isaac Albéniz.

The programme explores how the piano has led musical expression across different eras, highlighting the instrument’s versatility from the Baroque to Spanish nationalism and showing how the piano guides melody and emotion through time.
