The Cultural Center of El Corte Inglés Santiago de Compostela will host the exhibition ‘Landscapes and Still Lifes. Living Natures’ by artist Amparo Ribeiro from November 13 to 29.

The exhibition brings together some twenty recently created works that invite the viewer to pause and carefully observe what surrounds us: landscapes, objects, and living beings that are part of our daily lives. Ribeiro proposes a conscious and serene perspective, seeking tranquility and connection with the present, asserting that greatness is often found in small things.

With this exhibition, the artist from Ourense—trained at various art academies—continues a career that began in 1998 at the Mª Balteira Gallery in Santiago. Since then, her works have traveled to cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Paris, and New York, and she has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. She also regularly contributes to art publications.

'Landscapes and Still Lifes. Living Natures' is an invitation to rediscover the beauty of the here and now, through paintings that exude calm, sensitivity, and depth.

The exhibition can be visited during business hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. On Saturdays, November 15 and 29, the artist will offer guided tours from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
