Book presentation: Amalia Blanco 'Cando marchan as luces' (When the lights march)

On Friday, July 4th, at 7:00 p.m., the book “Cando marchan as luces” (When the lights march) by Amalia Blanco will be presented at the Sala de Ámbito Cultural.

This book delves into the fragility of existence, the invisible struggle between mind and body, a worm of echoes that never cease. It is not a study or an analysis, merely the drift of a thought that entangles itself, anchored between memory and oblivion.

About the book “Cando marchan as luces”

Luna, a 16-year-old girl born in Barcelona, suffers from depression after the death of her father. Her life becomes a labyrinth of absences where each memory weighs like an open wound. Between emptiness and hope, between fear and resistance, the protagonist searches for an impossible balance, a meaning that always eludes understanding.

The story intertwines Luna's reflections with the perspectives of her friends and family, who act as witnesses to her decline and struggle with the disease.
