This conference will address how artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the audiovisual creation process, with a special focus on the field of cartoons and animation.
Drawing on his experience as a film producer and director, Salvador Simó will analyze the impact of these tools on the different phases of production, from visual design to the generation of movements, voices, and scripts.
The talk will also explore the debate between artisanal creation and traditional methods versus new technological possibilities, examining tensions, opportunities, and risks. Furthermore, it will reflect on the future of animation in the medium and long term, as well as its creative, professional, and cultural consequences.
The event will be presented by Dr. Sebastián Molinillo Jiménez, director of the Chair.
