El Corte Inglés Málaga hosts the 6th screening of the Mitchell Leisen Cycle, featuring “No Time for Love” (1943). The session will take place on Tuesday, 9 June at 7:00 p.m. The film stars Claudette Colbert, Fred MacMurray and Ilka Chase; with music by Victor Young, cinematography by Charles Lang, screenplay by Claude Binyon and Warren Duff, and a running time of 83 minutes.
Katherine, a prestigious and brilliant fashion photographer, treats everyone around her with an air of superiority and dismisses all her suitors. To bring her back down to earth, her editor assigns her a photo report on a group of workers finishing a tunnel. An incident between Katherine and a labourer named Ryan results in his dismissal. She then hires him as her assistant. But when Ryan shows interest in one of the models, Katherine discovers the true meaning of jealousy.
